I won a years worth of groceries from Sobeys! This is so cool and excellent timing. I had knee surgery on Jan 23 (both knees) and will be off my feet for up to 6 weeks. This will come in handy being I am losing income. I won on Jan 24.

The greatest prize I have ever won was a two week tour for four people to Madagascar. We took the trip in October 2006. A limo picked us up at our door and we flew from Toronto to Paris and from Paris to Madagascar. We toured Madagascar from the Capital city of Antananarivo to the most southly point of the continent. Most of the tour was by bus, but we also flew to several of our stops. Seeing lemurs were the highlight of our trip as we had never seen them before. They only live in Madagascar. Eating different food was a challenge for me, having never eaten Zebu which is an animal similar to our cows I usually passed on this dish. This was a trip of a lifetime and one I will never ever have the privilege of experiencing again.

The Rolling Stones announced they would be heading a Canadian tour. As a big Stones fan, never witnessing them live, I won a rare pair of tickets from a local radio station. Hubby & I were to go but our babysitter backed out at the last minute, he suggested I went with someone else and he would stay home with our son. He reassured me next time the Stones came he would be there! A few years later the Stones announced another Canadian tour. Tickets were expensive and at that time, cash was a little short. I tried not to think about the fun I'd be missing. As I sat on the couch, flicking through channels, MuchMusic announced they were giving away tickets to the Stones in the following cities. I grabbed the phone and I called the 1-800 # and to my surprise I had won a pair of tickets to the show! 4 days later when we were standing FRONT ROW CENTRE!! my husband was beaming, "See I told you I would see them next time!" Best thing was the look on his face when Keith Richards was 3 ft away from us! PRICELESS!

A few years ago I won a trip for 2 to Las Vegas, we went on my husband's birthday, it was his best birthday present.

I have to admit that I am like James. I am addicted to entering contests. Well, this November it paid off big. I was one of the three winners of a $10,000 back yard makeover from Nature Valley. Needless to say, I am estatic. The biggest win I had before that was an Xbox 360, which I gave to my Daughter and Son-In_law for Christmas. I am so looking forward to my new backyard. My husband is estatic as he started renovating it last year and was only able to get the fence installed and the ground semi-level, now he can actually sit back and watch someone else do the work (or maybe he will actually get our front porch done this year)

While I was in college I won a trip to montreal for me and my wife. That is where I ended up proposing to her. It was a perfect trip!

The biggest item I won was while appearing on The Mad Dash game show in the early 80s. My brother and I appeared on this show that is currently airing on Game TV. We won a small amount of cash, probably less than $100, and a lady's watch. We decided that he would get the cash and I would get the watch. Unfortunately our time on the show was short, we won one game and lost two. My big brother still jokingly blames me for our loss. We did have fun on the game show and can't wait to see the repeats on Game TV. Cheers! Robyn Harris

i have been in every championship ball hockey game and have lead my team to victory every time! im a great ball hockey player. i've been playing ball hockey since i was 7 years old. i now have 7 championship trophy's all stacked on shelves in my room. i'd say i have pretty good luck aswell. i was in Mexico and everyday they would play bingo at the resort, and every night i would be called up on stage to reseive a prize for winning bingo all those times. i have won some shirts, wallets, free massages and a bottle of mexican gasoline. so that is my story and im proud of it!

The best thing I've ever won was a brand new car - a red Mustang. I had never owned a car before that so you can imagine how excited this was to me. I was 24 years old. I drove that car with pride for many years before finally having to sell it once I had kids and a 2 door became too difficult for a family.
I've won many things since then but nothing could ever match that win because it was something I needed so badly.
